Our Location

Our vision for the food forest extends beyond a mere plantation; we are crafting a landscape that invites exploration

Short Description

Nestled in Croatia, our location is on the evergreen Island of Rab, celebrated for its captivating historical panoramas and abundant natural beauty. Positioned beneath the legendary Velebit mountain, the island benefits from brisk winds that, while refreshing, clear the clouds, allowing sunshine to grace the island for 2500 hours annually.

The landscape is adorned with evergreen Holm oak tree forests, pines, and other Mediterranean vegetation.

Notably, Rab hosts the stunning Dundo holm oak tree forest on the verdant Kalifront peninsula, often referred to as the island's lungs.

Strategic Location

This strategic location of our farm serves as an exceptional starting point for embarking on island explorations, whether by mountain bike or hiking. Follow the gravel road, extending seamlessly to the seaside, and discover various branching paths leading to the picturesque Kalifront peninsula or the inviting white sandy beaches of Lopar. By almost entirely bypassing the main traffic road, our farm allows you to effortlessly reach any destination on the island. For a scenic journey to the town of Rab, follow the accessible seaside route beneath the canopy of overhanging pine trees, enhancing the charm of your island adventure.

The Landscape

The landscape is adorned with evergreen Holm oak tree forests, pines, and other Mediterranean vegetation.

Notably, Rab hosts the stunning Dundo holm oak tree forest on the verdant Kalifront peninsula, often referred to as the island's lungs.

The Kalifront peninsula, primarily composed of limestone, features numerous secluded coves and small bays, each boasting pebble beaches and a white sandy bottom that imparts emerald hues to the sea. The rugged east coast exhibits high cliffs, caves, and beautiful beaches with distinctive geological features, earning it a place in the Geo Park. Among the notable bays is Mag Bay, where the red gravel sand occasionally creates an otherworldly, Mars-like appearance.

Lopar Peninsula

The Lopar peninsula has well-preserved, white sandy beaches—pristine expanses of soft, powdery sand that line the coastline. These immaculate beaches, bathed in sunlight, provide a peaceful escape with azure waters and a scenic backdrop. Lopar's beaches serve as serene havens, inviting visitors to revel in the natural splendor and tranquility of the surroundings. Rab is surrounded by a few more islands, each with its unique charm, although some bear the scars of a dark past as former political prison camps.
